Thanks to Karen Needles for the tip...
The free portion of the HarpWeek website <http://www.harpweek.com/> site is currently featuring Political Prints from 1766-1876 <http://loc.harpweek.com/>. The political prints are on the HarpWeek site via a cooperative agreement with the Library of Congress. The originals are in the care of the Library's Prints and Photographs Division.
HarpWeek's free site also contains presentations on the following, gathered from a variety of sources.

A little background... HarpWeek is privately funded and is owned and published by a retired businessman with an interest in 19th century history. In 1992, he and his staff starting indexing and scanning (and acquiring) original copies of Harper's Weekly, the 19th Century Newspaper. Like many subscription (not free) information websites, HarpWeek, as the online version is known, also has a free website. The free site keeps getting better. By the way, the Library of Congress is a subscriber to the fee-based service. If you come to LC, you may use this service in any of the library's reading rooms.
