In the collection "Taking the Long View..." (panoramic photos), the special
presentation describes something called the pizza run, where people can
appear in these photographs more than one time because the image is exposed
over time, from left to right. (There's even a film in the presentation
    showing how this is done.)

Today, I came across a photograph in the collection demonstrating this
technique. Look at "Washington baseball team, season 1913" (which is
featured in Today in History for December 10).

Notice the relatively short man, whose uniform is really clean -- I'm
guessing a coach -- second from the left. Now scan to the right... see
    anybody familiar?

Sometimes it doesn't take much to make my day.

    Betty

P.S. I'm still collecting book suggestions -- history, culture, education,
technology -- whatever you'd like to have around if you were a Y2K fellow.
Even teacher/librarian humor are welcome topics.
